We’re very proud to announce that the Needle 200/300 Watt has won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023! After victories for the Needle in 2020 and the Jango in 2022, this is our third Red Dot Award in a row. “Time after time, we prove that design and engineering are a perfect match a Netalux. The jury of Red Dot was impressed by the “technically mature design, which makes the device versatile and flexible to use”. The Needle 200/300 watt is specially developed for industrial applications. Inside this compact mobile laser cleaning device is a laser gun that is well protected during transport but easily accessible when needed. This handset, which is suitable for both left- and right-handers, has a rotatable laser head and good weight distribution. In addition to its actual function, the trolley handle also helps protect the touchscreen that is part of the unit. The large wheels ensure remarkable maneuverability.

Three in a row

The Red Dot Design Award looks back on a history of more than 60 years. The distinction “Red Dot” has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after seals of quality. Excellent design is selected by competent expert juries in the areas of product design, communication design, and design concepts.

Netalux received a first Red Dot Award in 2020 for the Needle, our first laser cleaning machine. The jury stated that each detail of this laser cleaning device was carefully conceived and ergonomically designed in order to achieve the greatest possible user-friendliness. Two years later, our Jango also won an award. The jury was impressed with the design ingenuity and the practical requirements.

Collective effort
